My Morning Jacket, are set to release a new double live album with a companion DVD of the live show this fall. The CD will be released September 26th and the DVD, separately, on October 31st. It is entitled Okonokos, and the film will also be screened at select U.S. movie theaters.

The live concert was created with the aid of the trailblazing lighting designer Marc Brickman (well-known for his work with Pink Floyd), and filmed by director Sam Erickson. The album was mixed by Michael Brauer (Bob Dylan, Coldplay) and mastered by Bob Ludwig. The concert film was done in 5.1 surround sound.
